My rant

This is what I think of the new Pick TV logo. More on this later.

ARCHIVE No. 3½

Hello again. Here are the bits and bobs that were in the gallery between Root Beers #008 and Root Beers #009 and after Root Beers #009.

First off, there was a minisode celebrating "International Talk Like A Pirate Day"

Root Beers #008a - 19/09/2010 (Sunday) - Talk Pirate

I did this one during Oktoberfest, mentioning this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Germany. It's done in German.

The translation of this cartoon is this
SON: Hey, mum. Have you heard that next year's Eurovision is coming to Germany?
MUM: Now, I know.

Root Beers #008b - 20/09/2010 (Monday) - Wurzel Biers

And finally, this cartoon was counting the days before these three events.

Root Beers #009a - 29/09/2010 - How many days?

Until then, Thank thee and good day!

ARCHIVE No. 3

Hello, once again.

I would like to show how sad I feel about the September 11th attacks, by releasing this heartfelt message on the 9th anniversarvy of the attacks.
Root Beers #007 - An ode to 9/11 - 11/09/2010

This next item celebrates the joys of the Southampton Boat Show.
Root Beers #008 - Boat Show - 18/09/2010

During the summer holidays, I watch the final moments of GMTV on Friday 3rd September 2010, and I watched the first Daybreak on Monday 6th September 2010, so in a few weeks time, I dediced to do a tribute to Breakfast television on ITV with this cartoon.
Root Beers #009 - T.V. Yeggs - 25/09/2010

The additional Root Beers strips will be on tomorrow. So, until then, bye now!

Hark! It's Valentine's Day!

Ah, Valentine's Day! A day of love, cuteness, and sex madness. (Er...you can ignore that last one, there.) Rheged Bunnzie, a master at costume designing, have done a Mrs. Cupid costume, and she's got her sister, Nancius Bunnzie, to test the costume. I think she's looked really sexy in a dazzling Valentine costume, like that. Ah, well, Happy Valentine's Day!

ARCHIVE No.2

Here's the second batch of the classic Root Beers strips.

Root Beers #005 - 04/08/2010 - A Joke?

Root Beers #006 - 14/08/2010 - Need A Hand

This indicates that Root Beers took a break for summer and I was in Penrith for my summer holiday. As you know, I was born in Penrith in 1992 and moved to Southampton about 5 months later. My family always visit Penrith and Cumbria for the summer holidays. It's a tradition.

After the holidays, I did a apology letter, only to be interuppted by some characters that I shall put in the future. Those characters on the left hand side are LilyRaccoon (©Lily-Raccoon), Maxtara (©Maxtaro), and the main character from Cat-Like Things (©Jasmine "Caramel-Kitteh" Andrews).
Root Beers #006½ - 05/09/2010 - Root Beers no.6 and a half

Well, I'll send you the Nancius Bunnzie Valentine picture tomorrow.
Until then, ave, friends!

P.S. By the way, in case wondering what the Russian Bear was saying, he meant "At last! The end of the letter!" in Russian.

A Eurokatt Puppet?

A few days ago, I sumbit a drawing of Eurokatt to Puppetsmith. But, I might fear that it may not make it to thier first project. Here's what I thought the puppet would look like.
Next issue of Root Beers come to DeviantART tomorrow with a tribute to Valentine's Day, so watch this space!

Meet Eurokatt

And now... I would like to meet my mascot idea for the Eurovision Song Contest, EUROKATT!

When I first saw the mascot of the Eurovision 1990 (Zagerb, Croatia, Yugoslavia) on YouTube, named Euro Cat, I thought to myself, "Boy, I do need to work on reviving the mascot." So, I thought of an idea, sketching and doing it on MS Paint with my Bamboo tablet, and ta-da! I did a new version of Euro Cat. Of course, I have to change the name a little, as well. Anywya, she has the beautiful hair of Lys Assia (winner of the very first Eurovision Song Contest 1956 in Lugano, Switzerland), she wears a long sleeved dark blue leotard, a pair of dark blue leggings, white gloves, a white vest and a collar with a tag on.

She has many friends from the countries of the European Broadcasting Union area.
See her and her many friends at DeviantART.

Hope you like the presentation, bye now.

For Gary

A tribue to Gary Moore

When I heard that Gary Moore has died, I thought I should do a tribute to him by doing a parody of the front cover of the Wild Frontier with a wolf-like caricature of Tarja Turunen (formley of Nightwish) holding a microphone with a YLE logo on (YLE stands for "Yleisradio" means Finnish Broadcasting Company). The reason for this is because, Nightwish played a cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away". So, goodbye, Gary Moore, your songs still extends over the hills and far away ...
