Root Beers #129: After [expletive deleted] Friday

Hello, there. Hope you having a safe weekend, from all this Black Friday madness.
But, this painter, mentioned on this strip, had enough trouble with Black Friday shoppers.
That's why this year's painting was based on that.

There's a reference to last year's painting: http://root-beers.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/advent-2014-day-4-art-of-xmas-shopping.html
Also, I would like to apologise for this week's title. That word seems offended towards ethnic people. #blacklivesmatter

Newsflush 25/11/2015

Hello, once again.

Well, we're almost at the end of the year, and I've been doing a ton of work on my webcomic. Not only this season but also the next season, which will start on 17th September 2016, so no trouble there. I'm also doing some work for University on my second year of the Illustration course, which may have an impact on my other digital stuff. But, we will have to find out what will happen next, after some theory essay. In other news, days after my last journal, I went on holiday in Carlisle and Cumbria for a week, with my Mum. We went around not only Carlisle but also Penrith, Silloth, and Beamish. Finally, I would like to express how shocked I was to hear about the awful things which have happened in Paris, France. Our hearts goes out to the victims. Now, if you excuse me, I got to go and prepare some stuff for tomorrow's presentation and gymnastics.

Toodles. Al Welch.

Root Beers #128: Fangs-giving

Oh, come on, you guys! There must be an easier way to celebrate Thanksgiving with a sense of humour! And this week's head mast celebrate the life of Ghostbuster's Harold Ramis on would have been his 61st birthday.

Root Beers #127: RootBeersthon

First off, I recently heard that there are some awful things happening in Paris, France.
We give our condolences to families and friends of the victims.

So, then. Today's the day after the BBC Children in Need telethon. This year's telethon raised £5 million more than last year's telethon. I enjoyed some of the bits on that programme, especially Harry Hill's take on television.
And so here's my take on the telethon itself. Any resemblance to any banker is purely accidental.
Also, with Southampton's libraries and 5p for bags, this is quite topical. (I think.)

Today marked the 93rd anniversary of BBC Radio. That's why the BBC microphone was on the masthead.

Root Beers #126: Not Quite Topical

It has been two days since Bonfire Night and only four days until Remembrance Day (11th Nov), so here is this week's comic strip which takes place seven months after the previous general election of the United Kingdom. Hence the gag line. Enjoy.
