Root Beers #138: A Novel Idea

In this comic based on random fillings on http://www.plot-generator.org.uk, two characters tell all about their adventures on a promo for a programme on-demand. Much to an author's dismay.

Masthead referenced the birth of John Bird (founder of The Big Issue) in 1946 and the assassination of Gandhi in 1948.

Root Beers #137: Actual Shorties

First off, my many (and a thousand) apologies for the second gag in this comic.
Second, Here's a section of three short cartoons to fit this large cartoon.
Third, the last gag commemoratives the death of Captain Kangaroo and Johnny Carson. They both died on the same day, but not on the same year.
And lastly, the masthead shows the 30th anniversary of the first inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Root Beers #136: Dog-gone it, Nappa!

In celebrating my 24th birthday tomorrow, I thought I might give these lot a bit of makeover.
For this comic only, you'll see...
Morti Mouse as an English Mastiff
Nick Bunnzie as a Golden Retriever
Tim Tiger as a Jack Russell Terrier
Carol Woole as a Poodle
Ally Bobcat as a Beagle
and Fredrick Foxx as a Corgi.
And they all trying to figure out this idiom (and I'm not telling them, so there.)

Root Beers #135: Je suis encore Charlie

Well, it has been over a year since the devastated attacks at the office of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris, France.
This small comic does feature one of the many quotes of Confucius.

Root Beers #134: Happy Tiswas Year

Hello, and a Happy New Year! Not only this is the first Root Beers comic of the New Year, but also the first Root Beers comic to be on Tumblr! It's going to be great!

This comic features the debut of my caricature newsreader, Pew Edwards (a take on Huw Edwards, a BBC newsreader) and a comeback of one of my obscure characters, Ronald Katt (a bit of a harsh critic) and a debut of a duck, goes by the name of Bill-bob (Yea, name does sound kind of strange). Anyway, enjoy a safe New Year (if possible).

Hopes for Twenty Sixteen!

Well, I stayed up for 2016, watching Jools Holland's Hootenanny, followed by the bongs of Big Ben. Then, I just finished watching the Vienna New Year's Concert, direct from Vienna, Austria through the Eurovision link.
Anyway, here's what 2016 has to offer. Hopefully, something safe in fact. Happy New Year to you all.
